This process provides a convenient way to access your Voter ID digitally. The prerequisites for this process are the registered mobile number linked to your Voter ID and your Voter ID (EPIC Number). If you lack either of these, the download process will be unsuccessful. The registered mobile number is crucial because it’s needed for an OTP verification at the end of the download process.
To download your Voter ID, go to the National Voter Service Portal at https://voters.eci.gov.in. On the homepage, find and click the ‘E-EPIC Download’ option on the right. After clicking the download option, you will be prompted to log in. Enter the mobile number associated with your Voter ID card and log in using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Once logged in, you’ll have two options for downloading your Voter ID: using your EPIC Number or a Reference Number. Choose whichever method you prefer; this example uses the Voter ID card number. Input your Voter ID card number and select your state, then tap the ‘Search’ button. Your details will be displayed. Finally, tap the ‘Send OTP’ option. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to complete verification, and you will then be able to download your Voter ID card.
