Call histories are essential for various reasons in today’s world, going beyond just call detail viewing. Often, we need the call details of a particular number from the previous months, whether for personal or professional requirements. If you are a Jio or Airtel user and wish to access your call history for the last six months, the process is accessible to you, and it comes without any cost. You can complete the task for free.
**For Jio Users: The Process**
First, install the MyJio App on your phone. Log in using your Jio number and the OTP. Within the app, locate the ‘My Usage’ or ‘Usage Details’ option. This will allow you to view your call, data, and SMS details easily. Select the specific dates to view your call records for the last six months.
If you prefer to receive your history via email, send an email to Jio’s customer care at [email protected]. Include your phone number, full name, and the desired time period, such as January to June 2025. Your call details will be sent to your email address soon.
**For Airtel Users: The Method**
Open the Airtel Thanks App on your phone. Log in using the OTP, then navigate to the ‘Manage Account’ section and click on ‘Usage Details.’ Here, you can access call, SMS, and data usage details. Download your history by selecting the required day or month.
Alternatively, call Airtel customer care at 121 to request your call history report to be sent to your email. You will be required to confirm your email ID.
**Important Considerations:**
Ensure your Aadhaar/ID is linked to the number to view your call history. Most companies only offer call history for six months. The history will include the number, date, time, and call duration, but not call recordings. Retrieving the call history of someone else is against the law.
