The upcoming Apple event is generating buzz, with the unveiling of the iPhone 17 series drawing near. The launch will likely result in Apple discontinuing some of its older products. The event, scheduled for September 9, is expected to feature the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone 17 Air, along with new Apple Watch models and an updated AirPods Pro. This annual event traditionally sees Apple phasing out older devices. Reports suggest that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be discontinued after the arrival of the iPhone 17 series. The previous year’s flagship models could be removed from the official lineup once the new devices are available. These phones may still be available on other platforms, though with limited supply. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are also expected to be discontinued. Festive seasons often bring discounts on older models. Apple may also replace the current Watch Series with newer models. The Watch Series 10 is expected to be discontinued once the Watch Series 11 is launched. The Watch Ultra 2, introduced two years ago, could be phased out after the Watch Ultra 3 launch on September 9. In addition, the affordable Watch SE model may be discontinued, making way for the latest Watch SE 2.
