Apple is preparing to launch its new retail store, Apple Hebbal, in Bengaluru, India, on September 2nd. This will represent Apple’s first physical retail presence in South India, following its existing stores in Mumbai (Apple BKC) and Delhi (Apple Saket). This opening expands Apple’s physical retail presence in India to three locations, complementing its online store.
The Apple Hebbal store will feature a complete selection of Apple’s latest products. Customers can expect to find the iPhone 16 lineup, MacBook Pro, iPad Air, Apple Watch Series 10, AirPods 4, and AirTag, among other products. The store will be staffed by 70 trained employees, representing 15 states across India. The staff will be available to assist customers with product selection, financing options, iOS setup assistance, and guidance on switching from Android devices. The Hebbal store will run entirely on renewable energy, with the goal of carbon-neutral operations, demonstrating Apple’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
Apple Hebbal will also provide free daily sessions under the “Today at Apple” program, focusing on education and skill development. These sessions will cover topics such as iPhone photography techniques, the use of Apple Intelligence, creative projects using the iPad and Apple Pencil, with group booking options available for various groups. The store is set to open on September 2nd at 1 PM. This launch reflects Apple’s continued expansion and investment in the Indian market, representing an important step forward for the company.
Furthermore, Apple’s annual event is expected this month, with the possible unveiling of the new iPhone series. The iPhone 17 series is anticipated to be launched without a physical SIM slot in some Asian countries, with support limited to eSIM. Currently, India offers users both physical SIM and eSIM options.
