The incident that has made a rage from the holy city of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, has shocked the entire village. In Amauli village of Chaubepur police station area, a 40-year-old man named Raju Pal killed his third wife Aarti Pal with sticks just seven days ago. The reason behind the murder is – suspicion, violence and addiction. This is the same Raju who has already served a seven -year sentence for a murder.
Life burning in the fire of doubt
Aarti Pal was only 28 years old. After becoming Raju’s third wife, she came to her house with the hope of a new life. But in a few days, his dream became confused. Raju suspected his wife that she interacts with a relative young man on mobile. However, the young man himself was a close relative of Aarti. Despite this, the disbelief that arises within Raju kept pushing him towards humanity.
heart shocking night: death in sleep
Aarti was sleepy on the night of the incident. The suspicion within Raju had become a volcano. He made several attacks one after the other with sticks on his wife’s head and body, until Aarti’s breath stopped. This cruelty was such that the whole body of Aarti became soaked in blood.
Raju wanted to show murder by rape
Raju’s game did not end even after the murder. He threw Aarti’s corpse into a maradi outside the house to hide the crime and tried to give it the form of rape. In the morning, when the villagers saw the dead body in Madai, the police were called. At that time, Raju was crying bitterly while trying to prove himself innocent and was saying that his wife was raped and murdered by someone.
Police closely eye and revealed
The Chaubepur police reached the spot immediately caught Raju’s acting. When he was strictly questioned, he got nervous and broke the whole truth. He admitted that he had killed himself and had conspired to trap someone else. Police arrested Raju and sent them to jail.
Criminal history of Raju Pal
Raju’s past has also been full of crimes:
-
His first wife Sandhya left her due to alcohol addiction and violent nature.
-
The second wife Pushpa also separated from Raju’s violent behavior and separated.
-
Years ago, Raju killed his own sister’s lover, for which he was sentenced to seven years.
-
In November 2023, she left jail and in May 2024 she married Aarti for a third marriage.
The opinion of the villagers: “He was already henn”
The people of the village say that Raju was addicted to drugs and violent from the beginning. Anyone was afraid to talk to him directly. His behavior with women was always derogatory and unusual. He did not even hesitate to fight in public places. The elders of the village discussed this several times in the panchayat, but there was no improvement.
Police statement
ADCP Varuna Zone Neetu Kadayan said, “We were informed at night that some people were assaulting Raju Pal’s field. When we reached the spot, the woman’s body was found. Raju started running away in interrogation. Later he admitted to killing. The body has been sent for post -mortem and the accused has been sent to jail.”
Big question on women safety
This incident is not only a murder, but also raises questions on the claims of women safety which governments and society have been repeatedly doing. A woman, who was brought home with an oath to give security for a lifetime, took away her life in just seven days. The question is also, how was a convicted killer openly roaming in society? Did the rehabilitation system fail?
Who will give justice to Aarti now?
Aarti’s father, who sent his daughter for a new beginning, is now in deep shock. He has demanded strict action against Raju. There is also anger among local women. He has demonstrated at Chaubepur police station and demanded the hanging of Raju.
Will this be the last aarti?
The question is also coming out whether this incident will be the last? Will society, law and police be able to stop such convicted criminals in time? Will the atrocities with women in the name of marriage institution be curbed?
This incident of Varanasi has shocked the society. Now there is a need for awareness, education and strict laws, so that the lives of daughters and daughters are not extinguished in the darkness of doubt, intoxication and violence.
