Two of household die in mishap

PHULBANI:  Two members of a household had been killed whereas one other suffered accidents after their bike was hit by a rushing truck close to the Adarsha Vidyalaya on the Phulbani-Baliguda highway in Phiringia block on Tuesday. 

The deceased had been recognized as Prasanta Digal (28) and his 4-year-old son Chandan. Digal’s spouse Jyotsna, who was critically injured, was rushed to the district headquarters hospital. Following the incident, irate locals blocked the highway demanding compensation for the household, disrupting site visitors for over 4 hours.
