Two killed in group conflict, a number of harm in Odisha

BALANGIR: As many as two individuals have been killed and a number of other others feared injured in a fierce conflict between two teams over previous enmity in a village below Deogaon police limits on Saturday. Sources stated, the battle began after one Dhanmat Rout of Jarasingha village suffered heavy losses after his store was destroyed in hearth a number of days again.

Following the incident, Dhanmat attacked Karna Suna and Sripati Bhesara of Harijanapada suspecting their involvement. Karna and Sripati sustained accidents and have been rushed to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital the place the latter succumbed. 

Irked over the loss of life of Sripati, a number of residents of Harijanapada barged into the home of Dhanmat and attacked him, his members of the family and family with sharp weapons. When police reached the spot, it discovered Dhanmat’s physique mendacity in a pool of blood whereas the others are but to be traced. In view of the prevailing state of affairs, extra police drive has been rushed to the village to avert escalation. Police stated a probe has been initiated to nab the accused and a search began to hint Dhanmat’s household.
