Southern Naval Command to conduct hearth security audit of govt hospitals in Kerala

KOCHI: The Southern Naval Command of the Indian Navy has deployed its groups to conduct hearth security audit of assorted authorities hospitals in Kerala.

The SNC deployed its consultants for the hearth security audit following a request by the state Chief Secretary to conduct an audit of presidency hospitals in numerous districts of the state, a Defence launch mentioned right here.

Five groups had been deployed in Ernakulam district on Friday.

“After an initial assessment and taking into account the total number of hospitals that had to be audited in all the districts, an additional 22 teams were deputed with effect from May 17 to undertake audit of hospitals in the remaining 13 districts of Kerala,” it mentioned.

Audit of 101 out of 140 authorities/ taluk hospitals and different therapy centres/ infrastructure dealing with COVID instances has been accomplished and the groups are anticipated to finish the audit of the remaining hospitals by May 30, it mentioned.

Teams from INS Zamorin and Indian Naval Academy at Ezhimala had been deputed to conduct the audit of hospitals situated in Kasargod, Kannur and Kozhikode districts and the groups from INS Agrani, at Coimbatore had been deputed for audit of hospitals in Palakkad.

The groups interacted with the workers of the district administration and the hospital workers in any respect the places.

The preliminary findings and recommendationshave been intimated to thehospitals and the state administration, it mentioned.

An in depth report can be forwarded on completion of theaudit of all designated hospitals, the discharge mentioned.
