Six IAS officers promoted to Addl Chief Secy rank

BHUBANESWAR: Six IAS officers of the State have been promoted to the rank of Additional Chief Secretary. While 4 IAS officers, Principal Secretaries Anu Garg, Madhusudan Padhi, Satyabrat Sahu and Vijay Arora are posted in Odisha and belong to 1991 batch,  two officers on Central deputation, Arti Ahuja and Gudey Srinivas  belong to 1990 batch.

All the six have been promoted to the apex scale (Level 17) within the IAS pay guidelines. The two officers on Central deputations got proforma promotion. On promotion, the 4 IAS officers working in Odisha will proceed of their present posts. 

Garg might be Additional Chief Secretary in Water Resources division whereas Padhi was lately posted as Principal Secretary to Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department. Satyabrata Sahu is at the moment the Principal Secretary, Revenue and  Disaster Management Department. Arora is officer on particular obligation within the common Administration division.
