Puri’s Srimandir gears up for entry of all devotees

PURI: The district administration and Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) held a gathering on Sunday to streamline entry of devotees into the Twelfth-century shrine with out the obligatory Covid-19 destructive certificates from January 21.

It was determined to permit locals to enter the temple from 6 am to 7 am with manufacturing of ID proof whereas devotees from exterior could have darshan of the Trinity in 4 classes. The first session will begin from 7.30 am to 9 am whereas the second would start from 9.30 am until 12 midday. The third section darshan might be from 12.30 pm to 4 pm and the ultimate session from 4.30 pm until closure of the temple gates.

Anticipating large turnout, barricades could be raised once more from Municipal Market chowk until Simhadwar. So far, 65,000 locals and 1.25 lakh devotees have had darshan of the Trinity for the reason that temple reopened on December 23 final 12 months.
