Odisha: Picnic Bus En Route Bhubaneswar Overturns; 1 Killed, 6 Critical

Mohana: One particular person was killed whereas greater than 15 others injured after a picnic bus carrying them overturned close to Dumbalpadara space on Gajapati-Rayagada border on Monday.
The deceased was recognized as Sunil Sahu, a local of Bhubaneswar. The injured have been shifted to a hospital in Mohana.
According to sources, the mishap occurred when the bus named Maa Dakhinakali with 20 passengers was heading to Bhubaneswar from Gupteswar in Koraput. Most of the passengers have been from Bhubaneswar.
On being knowledgeable, Mohana fireplace providers personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Mohana hospital. The well being situation of six amongst them was said to be vital. They have been later shifted to MKCG medical school and hospital in Berhampur.
“We had come to Gupteswar for a picnic and were returning to Bhubaneswar. The bus overturned from ghat road due to overspeeding by the driver,” stated a passenger who suffered minor accidents.
