On the other hand, the administration is also having to struggle to remove 18 shops located in Azad Market. Let us tell you that the saw machine operators have given consent for the land in Chhota Ratibad located on Parvaliya Road, but due to lack of facilities there, they Are not ready to.
Shopkeepers are saying stop action due to Diwali
The district administration has taken action to remove 18 shops located in Azad Market which were creating obstacles in laying the metro line. Earlier some shops have been removed whereas 18 shops are still located at the spot. Shopkeepers have been given time on October 29 to remove them, but shopkeepers say that in view of the Diwali festival, this action should be stopped for now. Let us tell you that the work of metro rail line is going on very fast in the area where the saw machine is located, hence continuous action is being taken to ensure that it does not stop.

The effort to shift the saw machines out of the city has been going on for 48 years. Only now, with great difficulty, has a consensus been reached between the administration and the businessmen. Metro Company has given Rs 5.5 crore to the district administration for shifting the saw machines, but no work has started. At the same time, electricity, water, roads and other facilities will be developed by the industry center on 45 acres of land found in Chhota Ratibad.
Shifting will start soon
Bhopal District Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh said that all the private, government houses, buildings and shops are coming in the route of the metro rail line. Work is being done to remove them. Private people are being given notices and being asked to remove themselves and they are also being provided assistance as per rules. Development work is being done rapidly in the allotted land and shifting will start soon.
