Loisingha police nab robbers after 20 km chase in Odisha

BALANGIR: Loisingha police nabbed three miscreants after a 20km chase on Sunday. The trio was attempting to flee on a motorbike after robbing two brothers at gunpoint in Kushang village on Sunday. 

The miscreants had robbed Rs 35,000 and laptop computer from Janaranjan Naik and his brother Jyotiranjan whereas they had been on approach to Jharmunda village. 

On being knowledgeable, a group of police chased the robbers. After round 20 km, the miscreants deserted their bike in a forest space close to Kutasinga and even fired pictures at villagers. However, police and locals overpowered them.

Two pistols, bullets, cell phones and a motorbike had been seized from their possession. However, the stolen laptop computer and cash couldn’t be traced. Police mentioned two are from Sonepur whereas the third accused hails from Chhattisgarh. A manhunt has been launched to nab two different accused who’re on the run.
