JPSS ropes in college students to stir in opposition to JSW

PARADIP:  Around 200 faculty youngsters of Dhinkia on Saturday had been seen becoming a member of with Jindal Pratirodha Sangram Samiti (JPSS) agitation to oppose the JSW’s (Jindal South West Limited ) transfer to create a boundary wall for demarcation within the newly-created Mahala income village. 

This got here a few days after the corporate introduced a compensation bundle for individuals shedding land in villages of Nuagaon, Gadakujang and Dhinkia gram panchayat in a bid to expedite work on the venture. On Friday, the corporate put in and carried out puja on non permanent containers. 

Upon receiving data that JSW officers can be visiting Dhinkia to erect a boundary wall, college students and girls took out a rally in opposition to the corporate. “We will not let any company officials enter our villages along with the police and intensify stir further to resist any activity on the steel project if needed,” mentioned Debendra Swain, JPSS chief.
