Ranchi. After the expansion of Jharkhand cabinet, a tussle has broken out in the state Congress. 12 out of 17 MLAs of the party have raised the flag of protest. Of these, 10 MLAs are reported to have reached Delhi. Earlier, eight party MLAs held a meeting in Ranchi. After getting information about this meeting, Jharkhand Government Minister Basant Soren went and met the MLAs and tried to convince them but the MLAs did not listen to him. The MLAs have come to Delhi to complain to the party high command and if the hearing is not held then they will go to Jaipur and make their strategy.

It is noteworthy that after Hemant Soren went to jail, Champai Soren became the Chief Minister and his cabinet was expanded on 16 February. In that, all the Congress ministers included in the Hemant Soren government were sworn in again. MLAs are angry with this. The angry MLAs met thrice in two days. 10 Congress MLAs reached the airport late on Saturday evening to go to Delhi. Earlier, eight MLAs held a meeting for three and a half hours on Saturday evening at Raso Hotel located at Birsa Chowk.

Hemant Soren’s brother and Champai government minister Basant Soren came to meet these MLAs, but things did not work out. However, Basant Soren said – there were some doubts in the family, efforts have been made to remove them. Angry Congress MLAs include Rajesh Kachhap, Jaimangal Singh alias Anup Singh, Dr. Irfan Ansari, Umashankar Akela, Sona Ram Sinku, Bhushan Bara, Naman Vixal Kongri, Ramchandra Singh, Shilpi Neha Tirkey, Amba Prasad, Deepika Singh Pandey, Purnima Neeraj Singh.
