Jharkhand Cabinet Decisions: Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has increased the value added tax (VAT) by 8 percent on aircraft fuel aviation turbine fuel (ATF). The proposal related to this was approved in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. The government had proposed to increase VAT from 4 to 12 percent on aircraft fuel. Hemant Soren’s cabinet approved 14 proposals in a meeting held on 8 April.
VAT reduced from 22 to 15 percent on high speed diesel
In the cabinet meeting, it was decided to reduce the price of mining and industrial activities on wholesale purchase of high-speed diesel, ie VAT from 22 percent to 15 percent or Rs 12.5 per liter (whichever is more).
VAT on ATF in Jharkhand increased from 4 percent to 12 percent
After the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel gave the above information to reporters. Vandana Dadel said that the cabinet has amended the VAT rate for ATF. The proposal to increase it from 4 percent to 12 percent has been approved.
