Ranchi News: A 4 -member team has been formed to investigate the fall of the high mast light tower in the Nagdi police station area of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. The Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi Manjunath Bhajantra has formed a team to investigate this reduction on Tuesday. The team has been asked to submit the investigation report as soon as possible. On 4 February 2025, the tower of high mast light fell on a moving auto, in which 2 women (mother-daughter) died. An official provided this information on Wednesday.
2 women died in accident, 5 people were injured
The official said that the Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi Manjunath Bhajantra has asked the members of the committee to go to the spot and investigate. 2 women were killed and 5 others were injured in the accident. The investigation team will include District Land Acquisition Officer and Executive Engineer of Road Construction Department (Rural).

People jammed for 5 hours on demand for compensation
On Tuesday, a police officer said that the tower fell on an auto-rickshaw, in which there were about 8 passengers. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. Meanwhile, the local people accused the officials of negligence and disrupted traffic for about 5 hours on Tuesday demanding compensation for the families of the deceased.
