IIC thriller demise: Colleagues say he was disturbed, household denies

BERHAMPUR: The thriller surrounding the demise of Gangapur IIC Dev Kumar Gamang on Friday deepened with the revelation that the firing, unintended or suicidal, happened when three different law enforcement officials had been current within the residential quarters of the officer.

According to Gamang’s mom Pushpanjali, Dev attended a video conferencing carried out by Ganjam SP Brijesh Rai during which Bhanjanagar SDPO Sasanka Sekhar Mishra, IIB Dhiresh Das and sub-inspector of Gangapur police station Subhrajit Samantaray additionally participated.
