HSC, SSLC exams start amid COVID-19 security protocol in Kerala colleges

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Amid the Covid-19 surge in Kerala, this 12 months’s HSE examinations started on Thursday. The examination started at 9.40 am after 10 minutes of cool-off time.  The SSLC examination will start within the afternoon session at 1.40 pm. The VHSE examinations will start on Friday.

All the authorities involved and the scholars have adhered to the Covid-19 protocol. The college students are allowed to enter the college premises solely after sanitising their arms. Social distancing norms are being adopted and their thermal temperature is being checked.

The examinations have been earlier scheduled from March 17 to 30 however have been later postponed to April because of meeting elections. The state authorities has already issued an advisory to the colleges for strict adherence to the Covid-19 protocol. Only two college students are being seated on one bench.

All high-risk class college students – these in quarantine and who’ve come from exterior the state – must endure a ‘sanitised hall protocol’. Air-conditioned examination halls should not allowed. The SSLC examinations will finish on April 29 whereas HSE and VHSE will finish on April 26.
