Goods prepare derails on Angul-Talcher street, rail providers affected in Odisha

BHUBANESWAR: A dozen trains have been cancelled after a items prepare derailed between Angul and Talcher Road on late Monday night time.

“A goods train derailed at about 2.30 am between Angul and Talcher Road single line section. No injury has been reported in the accident,” an East Coast Railway (ECoR) instructed the newspaper. An inquiry has been initiated to establish the explanation behind the derailment, he added.

At least 12 trains have been cancelled, together with Bhubaneswar-Rourkela inter-city from Capital and Balangir-Bhubaneswar inter-city from Balangir. Eight trains have been diverted and one has been partially cancelled.

Rourkela-Bhubaneswar inter-city particular prepare from Rourkela will run between Rourkela and Sambalpur however its operation has been cancelled between Sambalpur and Bhubaneswar from each the instructions on the day.
