Dense Fog Alert For Odisha In Next 48 Hours; Yellow Warning For Several Districts

Bhubaneswar: Several components of Odisha will expertise dense fog cowl, particularly throughout early morning hours within the subsequent two days, predicted India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday.
As per the newest climate bulletin, shallow to average fog is prone to happen at just a few locations over the districts of north coastal Odisha – Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Khurda, Nayagarh, Puri, Kandhamal and at one or two locations over the districts of Sundargarh, Boudh, Sonepur, Malkangiri and Koraput until January 25.
“The minimum temperature (Night temperature) is likely to rise gradually by 2- 3 degree Celsius over the districts of interior Odisha during next two days. It will remain above normal by 2-3 degree Celsius over the districts of coastal Odisha during next 2 days,” stated IMD’s Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar.

Day 1 (Valid (legitimate from 1330 hrs IST of January 24 as much as 0830 hrs IST of January 25, 2021)
Yellow Warning: Dense fog very prone to happen at one or two locations over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Khurda, Nayagarh, Puri, Sundargarh and Boudh.
Day 2: Valid (legitimate from 0830 hrs IST of January 25 as much as 0830 hrs IST of January 26, 2021)
Shallow to average fog very prone to happen at one or two locations over the districts of North Coastal Odisha. Angul, Nayagarh, Khurda, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Kandhamal and Puri.
Yellow Warning: Dense fog very prone to happen at one or two locations over the districts of Bhadrak, Balasore, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal and Cuttack.
