Raipur: Fishermen Welfare Board Chairman Shri Nishad takes charge

Newly appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh Fishermen Welfare Board, Mr. M.R. Nishad took charge at a brief function organized in the hall of the Office of the Deputy Director, Fisheries, Raipur, Telibandha. On this occasion, Parliamentary Secretary and Gundradehi MLA Mr. Kunwar Singh Nishad, Director Fisheries Mr. V.K. Shukla, Secretary Fisheries Welfare Board Mr. Manoj Kumar Packra, Joint Director NS. Nag, Deputy Director Shri Dev Kumar Singh along with Mr. Dinesh Futan, Mr. Gayatri Prasad Dhivar and others congratulated and congratulated him. 

 Newly appointed Chairman Shri Nishad said that through Chhattisgarh Fishermen Welfare Board, works related to fisheries will be done on priority. He said that along with the fishermen community, people belonging to other sections of the society who are associated with the fisheries business will be benefited from the schemes and programs of the fisheries department and the fishermen welfare board will work to improve their standard of living. He also talked about preparing the action plan after getting suggestions from the people associated with this profession for the betterment of fishermen and their problems. Director of Fisheries Shri V.K. Shukla said that effective implementation of schemes and programs for fishermen will be ensured under the guidance of the chairman of Fishermen Welfare Board. On this occasion, Shri Harishankar Nishad, Babban Nishad, Jhumuk Nishad, Santosh Nishad, Naresh Nishad, Ganesh Kewat,
