Instructions for speedy completion of construction works given in review meeting of Jashpur district

 Innovating in Jashpur, a municipality area of ​​Chhattisgarh, about 2200 children from 1100 homes have been connected to education through cable TV with social distance. Cable connections are being used in 2600 households in the municipality area. With this, 6000 children will be imparted education through innovation. This information was given to School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam in a review meeting held in the collectorate hall of the district headquarters, Jashpur today. Appreciating the innovations being made to give education to children, Dr. Tekam instructed to operate it in other development blocks as well. Dr. Tekam today directed the Tribal Department to complete the buildings under construction soon and encourage the beneficiaries of forest rights pattas to cultivate lac in the land. 
    School Education Department officials told Minister Dr. Tekam that no child should be deprived of their education during the corona epidemic, in order to connect the children in the district with education and to continue their regular education with the help of various district administration Virtual class is being operated under the medium, cable TV, motor cycle guruji, mohalla class, loudspeaker education and state government’s Tuhar Duar scheme. Through motor cycle Guruji, the teachers are reaching the village and keeping a board on the motorcycle itself and conducting classes for a certain number of children in a safe place. In the garden development block also, children of Pahari Korwa family are being taught using guitar, harmonium and other instruments.
    Reviewing the Department of Tribal Development, Shri Tekam directed to complete all the ashram-hostel buildings and other construction works being constructed for the students at the earliest. Regarding the post-matric and pre-matric scholarship scheme, the bank’s accounts were confirmed by the bank and it was said that the scholarship would be provided directly to the students’ accounts. He also directed to make timely payment of minority and inter-state scholarship, check eligible beneficiaries in respect of Forest Rights recognition letter and benefit them from the scheme. Dr. Tekam said that to increase the income of the beneficiaries who have received Forest Charter letter, they should be encouraged to cultivate lac. He instructed to complete the works sanctioned under the Surguja Development Authority and Central Region Development Authority within a time-limit.
    Minister Dr. Tekam, while reviewing manure-seeds, loan disbursement, paddy picking, Chabutra construction, Godhan Nyaya Yojana, directed to complete the construction of Chabutra by identifying the location for the society as soon as possible. Cooperative Department official informed that 7776 metric tonnes of fertilizer has been distributed to 8907 farmers in the district. 11,123 quintal of paddy seed has been distributed. 20 crore 21 lakh 67 thousand loan disbursement has been made for the Kharif crop in the district. He informed that the work of lifting paddy from cooperative societies has been completed. He informed that currently 17 societies are operating in the district and proposals for 7 new societies have been sent. Under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, 64 Gothan and 5 urban areas of rural areas had purchased 849 quintal cow dung till August 5, in addition to which 1 lakh 69 thousand has been paid to the beneficiaries in their account.
    Jashpur MLA Mr. Vinay Bhagat, Member Board of Secondary Education Board Mr. Pawan Agarwal, Collector Mr. Mahadev Kavre, Superintendent of Police Mr. Balaji Rao, District Panchayat CEO Mr. K.S. District officials of other departments including Mandavi were present.
