Raipur 8 November 2024/ Instructions have been given by the state government to investigate the suicide of Shri Pradeep Upadhyay, a clerk posted in Raipur Collector Office, and the allegations made against three departmental officers in the suicide note. A delegation of Brahmin community had met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and requested for investigation into the suicide case. Following the instructions of the Chief Minister, orders for investigation have been issued by the General Administration Department. The Commissioner of Raipur Division has been entrusted with the responsibility of investigation. Taking a sensitive stance on the request of the Brahmin community delegation, Chief Minister Shri Sai has also assured the family of the deceased clerk that they will get compassionate appointment as per the rules soon.
