Raipur, March 19, 2025 / During his two-day visit to New Delhi, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, Union Minister of Power, Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Minister of Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, Governor of Jharkhand Shri Santosh Gangwar, Member of Parliament Shri Tejasvi Surya, and various other senior leaders. He held detailed discussions on the development of Chhattisgarh, industrial policy, Naxal eradication, and the development of Bastar.
Cordial Meeting with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Detailed Discussion on Chhattisgarh Development
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai had a cordial meeting with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji at the Parliament House. The meeting focused on discussions about the industrial development of Chhattisgarh, the master plan for the development of Bastar, and the expansion of infrastructure, industries, and tourism centers in Naxal-affected areas. Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that the Chhattisgarh government is fully committed to taking the state to new heights of development.
Chief Minister Shri Sai also presented Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi with an outline of his proposed visit to Chhattisgarh on March 30th. During this visit, various important development projects will be inaugurated in the state.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met with Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah at his residence and discussed in detail the complete eradication of Naxalism, the overall development of Bastar, and increasing economic activities in the state. The Chief Minister informed Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah that Naxalism in Chhattisgarh is in its final stages and the state government is taking decisive steps. The combined efforts of the central and state governments have weakened the hold of Naxalite organizations, and Chhattisgarh is now moving towards a new era. Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah appreciated the efforts of the state government and assured all possible cooperation.
Discussion on Energy and Urban Development with Union Minister of Power Shri Manohar Lal Khattar
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met with Union Minister of Power, Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal Khattar and discussed the expansion of the energy sector and issues related to urban development in Chhattisgarh. Union Minister of State and Bilaspur MP Shri Tokhan Sahu was also present at the meeting.

Chief Minister Shri Sai presented a master plan for the overall development of the Bastar region to the central government, with special emphasis on roads, electricity, water, education, health, industry, and new tourism opportunities. The aim of this master plan is to bring Naxal-affected areas into the mainstream of development and provide new employment opportunities to local youth. The central government positively accepted this master plan and assured all possible assistance.
