    Industry Leaders Meet with Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai in Mumbai

    Mumbai, April 23, 2025/ Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with leading industrialists from India and abroad in Mumbai today. During this meeting, there was extensive discussion on investment opportunities in the fields of textiles, tourism, and healthcare. Representatives from online fashion brand Size Up, INBD Tex, Swift Merchandise, Shalby Hospital, Lalan Group, Araiya Group, Pride Hotels, and Greentech Solutions participated in the meeting. Chief Minister Sai shared information about the facilities and incentives being offered to investors under Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy 2024-30.

    Ajit Kumar Dalmia, Director of INBD Tex, expressed his desire to set up apparel units in Nava Raipur, for which he stated that he needs 3 to 5 acres of land. Meanwhile, Swift Merchandise has decided to take steps considering the strong possibilities of the textile industry in Chhattisgarh.

    Dilip Parikh, representative of Lalan Group from Sri Lanka, appreciated Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy and showed interest in establishing a yarn and textile manufacturing unit in the state. At the same time, the head of Size Up Company proposed to the Chief Minister to invest in Chhattisgarh and said that they want to set up a unit for manufacturing plus-size apparel in the state. Chief Minister Sai assured them all of affordable electricity, skilled workforce, and excellent logistics from the state.

    Shalby Hospital Director Mr. Shanay Vikram Shah sparked new hopes in the healthcare sector by expressing his desire to open a multi-specialty hospital in Nava Raipur. Chief Minister Sai shared information about the investment and infrastructure development happening in the healthcare sector in the state and welcomed the initiative of the Shalby Group. Akshay Kulkarni, Chief Business Officer of Araiya Group, discussed the possibilities of investment in the tourism sector of Chhattisgarh. He said that he wants to connect the natural beauty of Chhattisgarh with global luxury hospitality. For this, the group is considering a long-term investment plan in the field of luxury tourism and transport in the state. Along with this, Mr. Satyen Jain, Director of Pride Hotels, said that his organization is focused on premium hospitality services and wants to benefit from Chhattisgarh’s rapidly developing tourism infrastructure. He has expressed interest in investing in Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, Mr. M. Prasad Reddy, Director of Greentech Solutions, presented a plan to establish an integrated steel plant at a cost of Rs 1245 crore in the state, which will create more than 500 employment opportunities. Mr. Reddy said that the organization is committed to providing cost-effective solutions through green technologies.

    Addressing the industrialists, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that Chhattisgarh has emerged as the most favorable state for investment. Our new industrial policy is simple, transparent, and beneficial for investors. There is no shortage of electricity, water, land, skilled workers, and logistics here. The state government is committed to providing support to every investor at every level.
