25 thousand farmers have offered 10 lakh quintals of paddy in Korba district to this point

The participation of farmers within the district has been important within the buy of paddy from December 1, 2020. All preparations to promote paddy for farmers have been ensured by the district administration. So way over 79 p.c farmers have offered paddy as in comparison with final 12 months. District Food Officer mentioned that the federal government has set a goal of 1 lakh 20 thousand 400 metric tonnes for the procurement of paddy for the district within the Kharif advertising and marketing 12 months 2020-21. One lakh eight thousand 722 metric tonnes of paddy has been bought. 11 thousand 678 metric tonnes of paddy is but to be procured for goal provide. Among the paddy bought to this point, thick paddy accommodates 97 thousand 115 metric tons, skinny paddy one thousand 961 metric tons and Sarna paddy 9 thousand 645 metric tons.
