3,800 individuals in 18+ age group get jabs on Day 1

ROURKELA: Enthusiasm marked the primary day of Covid-19 vaccination that began for 18-44 age group underneath the Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) limits on Tuesday. About 3,800 individuals under 45 years obtained the jabs at eight session websites amid elaborate preparations.
Each session web site was given slots for 500 doses with a complete goal of 4,000. They have been geared up with tents, ingesting water, hand sanitizers and seating association was made protecting social distancing in view. The administration had engaged 35 well being staff, 25 volunteers and 16 knowledge entry operators for the inoculation drive. ADM Aboli Sunil Naravane and RMC Commissioner Dibyajyoti Parida visited varied centres and monitored the drive.
