The sixth match of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 is between India and Pakistan, played at the R Premadasa Cricket Stadium in Colombo. This match marks the fifth time the two teams have faced each other in an ODI World Cup. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur has selected a strong playing 11, hoping to secure a second consecutive victory after winning their opening match against Sri Lanka.
India has made one change to their lineup for the Pakistan match. Amanjot Kaur is unavailable due to illness, and Renuka Singh Thakur takes her place. The team otherwise remains unchanged from their previous win. The opening pair will be Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal, while Harleen Deol, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh, and Deepti Sharma also feature in the playing 11.
Pakistan has also adjusted their team, with Sadaf Shamas replacing Omaima Sohail. Historically, India has dominated Pakistan in ODI World Cup matches, winning all four previous encounters.
