Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, on Friday, September 23, stepped out on Centre Court amidst a spherical of applause. The two legendary stars are at present collaborating within the doubles match of Laver Cup 2022 for Team Europe towards Team World’s Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe.

The match began after Andy Murray misplaced his match to Australia’s Alex de Minaur in an exciting three-setter that went proper all the way down to the wire. Federer and Nadal watched the match rigorously and confirmed their pleasure.

When they got here out on the enjoying enviornment, the group current on the venue stood up and cheered loudly for them. Federer and Nadal’s fandom was just about evident from the way in which the followers cheered for them.

Earlier, Federer appeared ahead to teaming up with Nadal for the doubles match. Federer, who introduced his retirement earlier this week, sounded excited to companion the Spaniard within the Laver Cup.

“For as long as we battled together, having always had this respect for one another, our families, our coaching teams, we always got along really well,” Federer was quoted as saying earlier.

“To go through the careers that we both have had, to come out the other side and being able to have a nice relationship, I think, is maybe a great message as well to not just tennis, but sports beyond it,” he stated.

“For that cause, I believe it will be nice. I do not know if it’s going to occur, however I believe it could possibly be clearly a particular second,” he added.
