WWE’s SummerSlam 2025 is gearing up to be a memorable event, spanning two nights at MetLife Stadium on August 2. Unexpectedly, the main event matches have already been revealed. Night 1 will feature Gunther versus CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. A tag team match between Roman Reigns & Jey Uso and Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed is also set to take place on Night 1, potentially as the headliner. Night 2 will be headlined by a Street Fight between Cody Rhodes and John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship. The revelation came from WWE’s official website, which showcased key matches on promotional materials. Additional matches announced include: Randy Orton & Jelly Roll vs Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul; Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez vs Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss (Women’s Tag Team Titles); Sami Zayn vs Karrion Kross; and Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill (WWE Women’s Championship) on Night 1, and Naomi vs Rhea Ripley vs IYO SKY (Women’s World Championship – Triple Threat Match); AJ Styles vs Dominik Mysterio (Intercontinental Championship); Jacob Fatu vs Solo Sikoa (U.S. Championship – Steel Cage Match); and Lyra Valkyria vs Becky Lynch (Women’s IC Championship – Last Chance Match) on Night 2.
