Following the practice session led by the President, Shimron Hetmyer’s performance in the match was poor. Hetmyer could not capitalize on the practice session and failed to score significantly. He was dismissed after scoring only 9 runs. He was bowled by Naseem Shah from St. Kitts.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors also experienced a defeat, losing by 5 runs. St. Kitts and Patriots, batting first, scored 149 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. In response, Guyana’s team could only score 144 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs.
This was Guyana’s third loss in the 7 matches of CPL 2025. This match marked St. Kitts’ third win in 9 matches.
