He remained a part of the team in this format for six years and was also included in the Indian squad for the 2019 World Cup. Jadhav played a vital role in some significant victories for India, including a memorable match against England in Pune, where he scored 120 runs off 76 balls, sharing a 200-run partnership with Virat Kohli. In Melbourne, he formed an outstanding 121-run partnership with MS Dhoni, leading India to victory against Australia. He played 73 ODIs for India, scoring 1389 runs at an average of 42, including two centuries.
