This includes the name of 25-year-old Shreeja Akula, India’s current world ranking number-1 player in singles in table tennis. Shreeja Akula has qualified for the singles and women’s team event of table tennis for the Paris Olympics.

The last 2 years have been very good for India’s current number-1 female table tennis player Shreeja Akula. In this, she won the gold medal in the mixed event of table tennis in the Commonwealth Games held in the year 2022 while playing with Sharath Kamal. At the same time, in the year 2024, Shreeja Akula took a big leap in her career and left behind India’s number one table tennis player Manika Batra for the last few years and achieved the best ranking of her career.

25-year-old Indian table tennis star Sreeja Akula was awarded the Arjuna Award in the year 2022 for her achievements. Sreeja is ranked 25th in the women’s singles ranking in the International Table Tennis Federation, in which she has 885 points. After her, Manika Batra is ranked 28th in the ranking with 766 points.
