Pakistan’s women’s cricket team is gearing up for a major tournament, working hard on the field. The team is aiming to win this tournament for the first time. A recent report indicates that the team will not participate in the opening ceremony of the Women’s ODI World Cup on September 30th. The opening ceremony will be held at the Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. While other teams will participate, the Pakistan team will not be traveling to India for the event. It is believed that the decision is connected to the current political situation between India and Pakistan. The PCB has not released an official statement. Pakistan will play all of its matches in Sri Lanka. The first match will be on October 2nd against Bangladesh. The match against India will be on October 5th in Colombo.
