Nitish Kumar Reddy has addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding his future with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The 22-year-old all-rounder has dismissed the rumors, confirming his dedication to the team. Reddy’s statement highlights the strong bond he shares with SRH, built on mutual trust and respect.
Reddy posted his commitment to the team on X. The 2024 season was a breakthrough for Reddy, resulting in his selection for India’s T20I squad and the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In the 2025 IPL, he scored 182 runs with an average of 22.75. He has scored 485 runs in 28 IPL matches, with two half-centuries, at an average of 28.52 and a strike rate of 132.87.
Reddy was recently part of the five-match Test series against England but was sidelined after the third Test due to a knee injury, likely to keep him out of the upcoming Duleep Trophy. He scored 45 runs and took three wickets in the two Tests he played.
