Earlier this year, Brian Lara participated in the International Masters League in India, representing the West Indies. The West Indies Masters were runners-up in the tournament. Lara, who retired from international cricket in 2007, has continued playing franchise cricket. In his illustrious Test career, Lara scored 11,953 runs in 131 matches, making him the highest run-scorer for the West Indies in Test cricket.
