In the second innings, KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal started the innings, but Jaiswal was dismissed early. Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul scored centuries, taking India to 364, setting England a target of 371. Duckett and Zak Crawley formed a partnership of 188 runs.
