Mahendra Singh Dhoni has launched his new sports venture, ‘7Padel,’ in Chennai, focusing on the growth of paddle tennis and pickleball. The launch was marked by the presence of Chennai Super Kings player Ruturaj Gaikwad and musician Anirudh Ravichander. The 7Padel center is spread across 20,000 square feet and includes three paddle tennis courts, one pickleball court, a swimming pool, a gym, a recovery room, and a cafe. This facility is open to both professional players and the general public. Dhoni views the launch of 7Padel as a gesture of gratitude to Chennai, emphasizing his deep connection to the city. He stated that Chennai has always held a special place in his heart and has given him much in his career and personal life. Dhoni expressed his vision for 7Padel to be a welcoming space for athletes, families, and fitness enthusiasts. Dhoni has also been seen playing pickleball. A video of him playing pickleball with Rishabh Pant in Dubai went viral, showcasing the rising popularity of pickleball in the sports world.
