December 2026 Schedule: Test, ODIs and New T20 Trio for India in South Africa

South Africa’s cricket board has released a detailed programme for the Indian women’s cricket team’s December 2026 tour. The itinerary kicks off with a lone Test match in Gqeberha from 9 to 12 December, after which three One‑Day Internationals will be contested in Paarl, Cape Town and Bloemfontein on 16, 19 and 22 December respectively.

In a notable change, a three‑match T20 International series has been slotted in for the end of the month, with the first game slated for 26 December in Benoni. The remaining two fixtures will take place on 29 and 30 December at Potchefstroom.

CSA officials said the addition of the T20 series was driven by the need to give both sides competitive exposure before the first ICC Women’s Champions Trophy in early 2027. The Indian side will therefore arrive in South Africa with a full slate of matches across all three formats.
