Prime Minister Narendra Modi has heaped reward on the Indian wrestlers after they stole the present on the Commonwealth Games on Day 8.

The wrestling contingent introduced in six medals on the Games on Friday, with Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia and Deepak Punia profitable gold, whereas Anshu Malik received the silver medal. In his subsequent tweet, the Prime Minister congratulated Bajrang Punia, saying that he’s synonymous with consistency and excellence.

“The talented @BajrangPunia is synonymous with consistency and excellence. He won a Gold at the Birmingham CWG. Congratulations to him on the remarkable feat as it was his 3rd consecutive CWG medal. His spirit and confidence is inspiring. My best wishes always,” stated Modi.

PM Modi went on to say that he was thrilled by the efficiency of Sakshi Malik, who received a gold medal within the ladies’s 62kg class and referred to as her a powerhouse of expertise.

“Our athletes continue to make us proud at CWG Birmingham. Thrilled by the outstanding sporting performance of @SakshiMalik. I congratulate her for winning the prestigious Gold medal. She is a powerhouse of talent and is blessed with remarkable resilience,” stated Modi.

The Prime Minister congratulated the third gold medallist of the day, Deepak Punia, who obtained on the highest step of the rostrum by beating Pakistan’s Muhammad Inam within the males’s 86kg class.

PM Modi referred to as Deepak India’s pleasure and stated that everybody was elated by his efficiency.

The Prime Minister lastly congratulated Kakran for her bronze within the 68 kg ladies’s class. He went on to say that the Indian wrestlers had been excellent.
