In a thrilling T20 encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Central Delhi Kings comprehensively defeated South Delhi Superstar in the Delhi Premier League (DPL), winning by a significant margin of 9 wickets. Kings displayed a strong performance with both the ball and the bat, resulting in a one-sided victory. South Delhi Superstar faced a difficult challenge, adding to their losing streak with this defeat. After winning the toss, Central Delhi Kings chose to bowl and completely dismantled the batting of South Delhi Superstar. None of the batsmen from Superstar were able to stay at the crease against the Kings’ bowlers, and wickets fell at regular intervals. South Delhi’s innings ended at a score of 80 runs in 15.4 overs. Tejas Baroka from Kings was the star bowler, taking 3 wickets for just 12 runs in his 4 overs. His accurate bowling consistently challenged the batsmen. Siddharth June played an explosive innings, scoring 32 runs off 10 balls, including several boundaries. Following June’s dismissal, Yugal Saini joined Yash Dhull and easily secured the target. Dhull remained unbeaten with 29 runs off 15 balls, and Saini scored 12 not out off 12 balls, leading to Kings’ victory in just 6 overs.
