The second season of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) got off to a thrilling start with Yash Dhull’s stellar performance. Dhull’s magnificent century led the Central Delhi Kings to a convincing 8-wicket victory over the North Delhi Strikers at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Dhull’s innings was a spectacle of aggressive yet controlled batting, as he hammered an unbeaten 101 runs off 56 balls, hitting 8 boundaries and 7 sixes. His display, combined with contributions from Yugal Saini and captain Jonty Sidhu, ensured the Central Delhi Kings’ dominance. The North Delhi Strikers, despite valiant efforts from Sarthak Ranjan and Arnav Bugga, couldn’t match the Kings’ performance, suffering a defeat in their opening encounter.
