By India Today Web Desk: World No.7 Coco Gauff admitted that dealing with US Open 2021 Women’s singles champion Emma Raducanu within the second spherical of Australian Open will likely be a tricky activity. On Wednesday, January 17, Gauff and Raducanu will lock horns on the Rod Laver Arena.

Gauff, who as soon as defeated the likes of Naomi Osaka and Venus Williams on the age of 15, stated that she must be at her best possible in opposition to Raducanu.

“I’m not a fighter – even though I have trained in the past with Mike Tyson. If someone came up and punched me I would be out first punch!” Gauff added.

Gauff, on Monday, January 17, defeated Czech Republic’s Katerina Siniakova 6-1, 6-4 and superior to the second spherical. In the second set she was trailing 2-4, however made a comeback to shut out the match.

The 20-year-old Raducanu, however, will likely be going into the match after beating Germany’s Tamara Korpatsch 6-3, 6-2 on Monday at 1573 Arena.
