The Pakistan T20I team for the Asia Cup 2025 has been announced, and it notably excludes Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Fakhar Zaman is included in the squad after recovering from an injury. The Asia Cup will be held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Pakistan will participate in a tri-series against Afghanistan and UAE before the tournament. Salman Ali Agha has been appointed as the captain of the Pakistan team for the Asia Cup. Pakistan is in Group A with India, Oman, and UAE. The first match is against Oman on September 12th, followed by a match against India on September 14th, and a match against UAE on September 17th.
