With this performance, North Zone had a lead of 563 runs. This was Kumar’s sixth century in first-class cricket. The 27-year-old batsman has played 37 first-class matches and scored over 2300 runs. In the previous Ranji Trophy season, he scored the most runs for Haryana with 574 runs in 8 matches, including 2 centuries and 2 half-centuries.
