Roadmap of self-reliant Madhya Pradesh released, doubling farmers’ income and claiming to increase employment
2 min readAfter a six-month long churn, the Shivraj government prepared the roadmap 2023 for self-reliant Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan released it at a program held at Minto Hall in Bhopal on Thursday and said that it is a roadmap to turn the challenge into an opportunity. It claims that employment opportunities will be increased with doubling the income of farmers. For this, agriculture will be linked to processing with a boost to investment. The Chief Minister said that the Chambal (Atal Progress Way) Expressway and the Narmada Expressway will not only be roads but roads of development. Industrial parks will be developed on both sides. Bhopal-Indore Expressway will be made ideal. Along with promoting investment, necessary funds will be arranged from outside the budget. Ministers, MPs, MLAs, Commissioners and Collectors participated in the event through video conferencing. Referring to the Corona period, the Chief Minister said that we had economic challenges during the Corona transition. There was a time when the treasure was empty. The officers proposed to cut the salary of the employees but we refused and did not let any employee’s salary stop. Worked by borrowing, but now things are slowly improving. Where there is a will, there is a way out. The Chief Minister cannot say what I should do. Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog, Amitabh Kant, while praising Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that Madhya Pradesh set a roadmap to make the state self-reliant when the focus of all states was on the corona epidemic. We will see the results of this in the coming days. This is the roadmap for development. Madhya Pradesh is at the heart of the country and a logistic hub can be built here. The focus is on development in collaboration with the private sector. I hope that by implementing the roadmap in three years, the state will be among the leading states of the country
