Gandhi Vichaar Padyatra commences in every block of the state today

On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi, weeklong Gandhi Vichar Padyatra has been started in every block of the state today. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and with participation of ministers, MLAs, first phase of Gandhi Vichar Padyatra was started on October 4 from village Kandel of Dhamtari district and concluded on October 10 at Gandhi Maidan. In the second phase of Gandhi Vichar Padyatra, processions will be organized in every block of the state. Objective behind this padyatra is to create mass awareness about ideals and principles of Gandhi Ji, and his teachings of truth, non-violence, self dependence and compassion. This weeklong block-level padyatra will be held on October 17. Large number of Gandhians, local representatives and common people are participating in these padyatras.
