PM Narendra Modi (PM Modi) arrived at Rajghat to pay homage to the 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. He offered flowers at the tomb of Mahatma Gandhi and attended the Sarvadharma prayer. After this he reached Vijay Ghat. Where he paid tribute to Shastriji at his samadhi. Both sons of former PM also reached Vijayghat to pay homage. PM Modi paid tribute to Lal Bahadur Shastri and said that he was humble but determined. He gave his whole life and death to the country. The entire nation is remembering him with pride. Earlier, President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday 1 October called upon the countrymen to walk the path of truth and non-violence and build a clean and prosperous India. This information was given in an official statement. On the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, President Kovind said that Gandhiji’s path of truth, non-violence and love paves the way for world welfare by bringing harmony and equality in society. The President said that the values of Mahatma Gandhi were as relevant today as they were today, and will remain as much in the future.
