    Naiduniya representative, Ratlam: Now, entry to the ancient Maa Kalika Mata temple for worship will be granted only if the person comes wearing Indian attire and decent clothes. Worship will not be allowed in the temple if the person comes wearing western culture clothes – skirts, Bermudas, shorts etc. The temple administration has also put up an information board outside in this regard.

    A notice board has been put up outside the temple, which mentions the need to maintain decorum. The temple priest Rajendra Sharma said that sometimes some people come to the temple wearing indecent clothes. Satvikta is important in worship. To keep this in mind, a notice has been put up regarding clothing.

    Many attempts were made in the past to impose such a ban. It was implemented during Navratri as well. Devotees also agree with this. Vaibhav Sharma, who comes to the temple daily for darshan, said that it is right to come to the temple wearing clothes that are appropriate for worship. It is important to have decent clothes to keep the behavior pure.
